Octagon Basketball Welcomes Alex Saratsis to Senior Director of Global Operations
Basketball Industry Veteran Brings Wealth of Experience to Global Role

January 10, 2023 – Octagon Basketball announced today the appointment of Alex Saratsis as Senior Director of Global Operations. In this role, Saratsis will oversee the strategic planning and execution of all aspects of Octagon Basketball's global operations, including player representation, marketing, and business development.
Saratsis has a decorated 20-year career in the basketball industry, most recently serving as the Director of Basketball Operations at the University of Oregon. Prior to that, he held leadership positions at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and the University of Washington.
Octagon Basketball President Jeff Schwartz is confident that Saratsis will make significant contributions to the organization. "Alex has a proven track record of success in the basketball industry," said Schwartz. "His expertise in player representation, marketing, and business development will be invaluable to our clients and our team."

Saratsis is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. He holds a Master's degree from the University of Washington.
